The Birkins comienzan el año con un tercer sencillo digital extraído de su disco homónimo de debut, calificado como una de las sorpresas más agradables del indie nacional. El tema escogido en esta ocasión es Reflections (Just Dance), probablemente el más luminoso y pegadizo del disco, favorito personal del público en los conciertos y de muchos medios especializados en sus críticas.

Como sucediera en los dos sencillos que la preceden, Dani Machín, Cristina Santana, Alby Ramírez y Sergio Miró se ven arropados aquí por la producción de Paco Loco, que en este caso se ocupó también de las mezclas (el único tema del disco cuya mezcla no viene firmada por el americano John Agnello), y envueltos por la magia de los teclados de Rami Jaffee (The Wallflowers, Lucinda Williams, Foo Fighters).

La “Cara B” de este tercer single digital corresponde a una versión inédita de la canción Sexo, un clásico de Moral Femenina, banda legendaria de los 80 en las Islas Canarias. Esta versión surge como encargo para Perversiones y Diversiones; un proyecto realizado en las islas que recupera canciones de bandas canarias de otra época en voz y arreglos de bandas canarias de hoy en día. Sexo supone también el estreno en castellano de The Birkins, que en su disco debut se apoyan en el inglés y el francés como herramienta de expresión. La producción y grabación ha corrido a cargo de Ángel Medina (Quique Gonzalez, Iván Ferreiro, The Sunday Drivers), y nuevamente aparecen los teclados de Rami Jaffee.

La “cósmica” portada de esta nueva publicación es obra de Noemi Tejera, autora también de las fotos promocionales del grupo.
